INFERNO Drop
MegaBanshee INFERNO is a limited NFT collection where 100% of sales is re-invested into emerging and independent artists.
Yes, we said 100% and we mean it.
We invest in artists.
Some Background
We're in this for the long haul.
We want to help build the value in the work created by new, emerging, and independent artists. By curating a living gallery, MegaBanshee will rotate new acquisitions with each drop and a portion will enter secondary market after they have been curated and promoted.
MegaBanshee is committed to collecting 500 NFTs per drop, which runs every 10.5 weeks, averaging nearly 50 NFT purchases from independent artists per week. That’s a 25% chance for an artist to get collected by MegaBanshee with just one token.
No shilling necessary.
We select from INFERNO token owners with the use of a random number generator and coordinate it with the assigned numerical value. Pretty simple. Tokens cannot be selected twice, and MegaBanshee curators can never own tokens. This means fair selection, fair distribution.
The basics.
- 2,000 fractionalized NFTs in INFERNO drop.
- Each token grants the owner a chance to be selected.
- Active drop runs 10.5 weeks from mint date.
- Artists will be chosen randomly at 25% chance of selection during active drop.
- Selection cannot exceed the numbers of tokens purchased.
- No tiers, fair chance, every token is 0.125Ξ
- Reservation of 20 tokens (1%) for promotion and giveaways.
- Curators cannot own tokens and their art cannot be collected.

- No secondary market NFTs
- No collectibles
- Original artwork from the artist
- Can be sold on Ethereum or Tez blockchains
- 1/1 preferred
- Up to 0.5Ξ
FAQs
We’re a curated art project that is committed to supporting new, emerging, and independent NFT artists. We fund the collections by using 100% of net profits from limited edition drops we do, the first one being the INFERNO drop.
This concept was first called the “Mega Collector Project” internally in its infancy, but after fleshing out the idea more we wanted to give it more personality. Why banshees? Two reasons. 1) Banshees in folklore are only heard screaming on the heels of an impending death. With the constant rhetoric of NFTs being dead, we thought this was a good tongue-in-cheek response to that. 2) Banshees scream loud, and NFT artists are screaming, hoping to to be heard. We want to recognize that need.
Every kind of art. We want to represent the spectrum of artistic talent that is in the NFT space. Our only rules when MegaBanshee buys is that it is the artist’s original work, no collectibles, no secondary market pieces, 1/1 preferred, up to 0.5E.
Random selection is the closest system we can use to select from token owners equally. Art is subjective and holds different values to different collectors, and we want to enable the chance to be collected to be had by all artists.
Although MegaBanshee is designed for artists to gain tokens so their work can be curated, collectors are welcome to purchase tokens. If a collector is selected, the collector has the ability to nominate an artist of their choice.
Absolutely. Whether you are an artist or not, your selection can be donated to anyone who has an NFT available that meets the criteria in our curation guide.
Yes and yes! Selection is random by token, not by artist.
If you have been selected in that time, then congrats! If you haven’t been selected you still have a chance to be collected. How does that work if we have exhausted funds from the drop? With each future drop, we will place a number of INFERNO collected pieces into the secondary market. Half of net profits will be re-invested into collecting from INFERNO token owners. Selections will go to current token owners.
Eventually, most pieces will hit secondary market. Artist royalties will apply, and 50% net profits after costs and royalties will go back into collecting from more artists in that drop that were not selected during active drop.
